Welcome to NLX

Northern Lights Express, or NLX, is igniting imaginations around Minnesota and the nation.

Project Description

NLX is a proposed passenger rail project between Target Field Station in Minneapolis and Union Depot in Duluth.

Next Steps

We are ready to build! The MN Legislature provided the 20% local match. Please thank your representative, senator and governor. The time is now to contact your Congressional members to encourage federal support for the remaining funding. Help bring this powerful economic, environmentally friendly project to life! Give people more choices in where they live, work, go to school, play.
